My most recent work is an adaptation of the trompe l’oeil style, producing dark narrative illustrations that are printed, drawn, and painted directly on the wall. In The Subtleties Between Dreams and Nightmares, I drew onto the tile of abandoned shower stalls in an old hospital. Six small frames each contained elements of a loose narrative about an uncanny dream world involving a hospital bed, an old house on a hill, Spanish Moss dripping off a tree and ominous storm clouds.
